REVIEW: Forget Me Not by Willow Winters

A dark and unconventional love story..

What a wonderfully unexpected and tortuous storyline….when I started reading this book I was confused and in fact there seemed so many plot holes and unlikely coincidences…I love this authors writing so it was disappointing to say the least…and then gradually the plot thickens and a whole new light is shed on the proceedings…and everything I originally assumed was turned on it’s head…

This is a story of abuse and abandonment and the effects which follow children into adulthood…the story actually has three perspectives which provides an opportunity to hear the inner voices of the protagonists as well as a window into the events taking place from another person’s point of view.. the characters are so damaged and the relationships so dysfunctional but this makes everything all the more imperfectly perfect and captivating,,..

I was totally gripped by this suspenseful book with it’s original and intriguing plot…above all else this is a love story perhaps not a conventional one but every bit as all consuming and at times touchingly beautiful …This book was reviewed for Summer’s Eve Reads…
