My entire life fell apart once. It took everything I had to pull it back together, and drag the Jessica Carnes name out of the gutter.
And now he threatens to destroy all I’ve worked for—my sculpture, my rebuilt reputation, and my life. All I have is my art, and I’ll do anything to save it from his predatory hands.
Even if it means offering myself instead.

Title: Destroy
Author: Nikki Sloane
Series: standalone taking place after CD Reiss’ Submission series
Heat: 4/5
Plot: 2/5
Rating: 3/5
Nikki Sloane’s writing is brilliant, as per usual. I just find it difficult to get attached to novellas, due to the lack of build up, and I feel like I would have benefited from having read CD Reiss’ Submission series more recently than I had. It was still a nice, dark little number, largely comprising of one erotic scene. As ever, I simply find myself desperate for a full-length, for a chance to grow attached to the characters, and for the plots to be drawn out and beautifully planned and executed.
