REVIEW: Pay for Play – Victoria Ashley & Hilary Storm

Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000035_00015]Title: Pay for Play
Author: Victoria Ashley & Hilary Storm
Series: #1 (standalone in a series)
Genre: erotic romance
Rating: *****

A highly unique read with a fabulous amount of character development. This is one of the best romance books I’ve read so far this year, with Ashley and Storm writing seamlessly together. There was a fantastic amount of chemistry between Rebel and Lynx, with their sex scenes not only steamy, but also unbelievably playful. I loved seeing Rebel being pushed out of her comfort zone and becoming more confident as the story progressed, and how she was able to play off the cheeky cockiness of Lynx.

There was a strong supporting cast, with hints of complex characters that will supposedly be getting there own instalments (and God I can’t wait), and once again a huge plus of this book was the banter between them – not just between Rebel and Lynx, although that was great too – lots of which left me smirking to myself.

Everything came together brilliantly, with enough of a focus on the Alphachat business and mansion, and Rebel’s home life, to give this story an extra dimension above the developing love story. A clear favourite for 2016.
